The following federal agencies offer free or low-cost business seminars and counseling to new or established business owners.  Search the web sites for offices near you.
1) Small Business Development Centers: www.SBA.gov/SBDC - SBDCs are located throughout the U. S. and its territories and work with universities.
2) Women's Business Development Centers: www.onlinewbc.gov - Women's Business Centers are funded in part through grants and their goal is to help women succeed in entrepreneurship.
3) Senior Corps of Retired Executives: www.score.org - SCORE offices are located around the country and offer free business counseling and low-cost seminars.  The web site offers business articles and templates.
